Bayshore Senior Residence is a mixed-use affordable housing development in Bay Shore, New York, developed by the D&F Development Group and Xenolith Partners LLC in partnership with the LGBT Network. Designed by BHC Architects, the four-story multifamily apartment community includes 75 affordable senior housing units for residents age 55 and older, along with an 8,000-square-foot LGBT community center. Giaquinto Masonry contributed to the construction of the building’s masonry façade, helping deliver a modern residential development that combines affordable apartments, supportive services, and community space within a single multi-unit complex. As the first LGBT-friendly senior housing development in Suffolk County, the project provides a safe, inclusive environment with on-site health, wellness, nutrition, recreation, and social programming while expanding affordable multifamily housing opportunities on Long Island.
