225 Circle Rd, Stony Brook, Long Island, New York

The Chávez Hall, Tubman Hall, and East Side Dining Complex is a 348,000-square-foot student housing and dining development at Stony Brook University in Suffolk County, New York. Constructed by Aurora Construction Management, the LEED Gold-certified project was one of the largest campus housing developments in the State University of New York system. The complex includes four interconnected five-story residential towers with approximately 300 suite-style units, 760 beds, and a state-of-the-art dining facility serving the university community.

Giaquinto Masonry contributed to the construction of the exterior masonry envelope, which incorporates ironspot brick and cast stone throughout the complex. Built within an active campus environment surrounded by occupied buildings, the project required extensive coordination, new utility infrastructure, and phased construction while maintaining ongoing university operations.
